Sandra grew up in El Salvador, going to college on the eve of Civil War. As a young woman, she decided to escape the violence that engulfed her country for a new life in the United States.  Here in Cambridge she has made a new home, devoting her life to teaching and inspiring young immigrants learning to make their own way in a new country.  This is her story...
